MG will present the new MG3 Hybrid+ at the Ecar Show, which starts this Friday at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL) and runs until next Sunday.
The second generation of the MG3 comes with a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle gasoline engine, with 102 hp and 128 Nm, combined with a three-speed automatic transmission, a 136 hp and 250 Nm electric motor, a generator, and a 1.83 kWh battery, allowing for a total power output of 195 hp.
These numbers enable the MG3 Hybrid+ to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds and reach a top speed of 170 km/h.
Inside, the highlight is the MG iSmart infotainment system, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keeping drivers connected in an easy and intuitive way. The smartphone app offers practical remote functions, such as opening and closing the vehicle and pre-heating the cabin.
In terms of safety, the MG3 Hybrid+ is equipped with the MG Pilot system, which includes up to eleven driving aids, such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and automatic emergency braking.
