Sergio Perez has been practicing his profession with Red Bull since 2021.
The current world champion expressed joy at his teammate’s recent contract renewal at Red Bull Racing. The Mexican driver signed a two-year contract extension after a long period of speculation about his future.
Perez joined Red Bull in 2021 and has performed adequately for the team. However, doubts about the 34-year-old driver’s future arose at the end of last year, after a challenging season where he finished 290 points behind Max Verstappen.
The Mexican driver has consistently put the team’s interests before his own and has repeatedly demonstrated his value to the team. As a result, the Milton Keynes-based team has recognized his contributions and offered a two-year contract extension, keeping him on the team until the end of 2026.

Perez had a good start to the current season, securing four podiums in five races. However, his performance dropped in the Miami, Imola, and Monaco races. Now, he will seek to recover from his setbacks in the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix, while aiming for his first victory in the 2024 season.
