Mexican driver Sergio Perez is confident that his recent contract renewal with Red Bull Racing will not be the last in his Formula 1 career. Perez intends to finish his career in the sport with his current team. Red Bull announced earlier this week that Perez has agreed to a two-year contract extension, keeping him with the current champions until the regulation change in 2026. Despite recent difficulties, Perez revealed that negotiations with Red Bull went smoothly once both parties agreed on the terms. He expressed his happiness and excitement to continue with the team, emphasizing the intense challenges that Red Bull brings. Perez acknowledged that there were other options available, but his priority has always been to stay with Red Bull. He expressed his gratitude to the team for the opportunities given to him and his desire to give his best until the last lap. Although he will be 37 years old at the end of his current contract, Perez believes he will continue to be involved in Formula 1 beyond that period, citing the examples of Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton. He did not see this contract as his last and expressed his focus on finishing his career with Red Bull.
