Truex Jr. has had a sponsorship deal with Bass Pro Shops since his days with DEI, a hunting and fishing equipment retail chain. The company and its CEO, who is a close friend of Truex Jr., have been strong supporters of his NASCAR endeavors. The JGR driver expressed his gratitude towards Morris, the billionaire CEO of Bass Pro Shops.
