At Renault, a new model is in the pipeline. As everything indicates, the project with the codename DJB should see the light of day later this year, giving shape to a unique variant of the Captur, stretched to 4.4 meters in length, to compete more directly with the Nissan Qashqai and company.
The information, unofficially, is advanced by AutoExpress, which anticipates that the new model from the diamond brand, which could assume the designation of Grand Captur, will position itself in the range, exactly between the Captur and the Austral, in place of the Arkana (and the combustion-powered Mégane…).
According to the same source, the new SUV should use the CMF-B platform of the Captur, offer various levels of electrification, and adopt the style elements of the brand’s recent releases, with the vertical LED headlights (daytime running lights) of the Clio 2023 or the stylized grille of the Rafale.
