For the Portuguese teams, good news comes from the SSV category. João Ferreira (Can-Am Factory Team) is leading the time tables after 295km, before the mandatory break. He has a lead of over 2m40s over Florent Vayssade (Sébastien Loeb Racing Bardahl Team/Polaris). Jérôme de Sadeleer (MMP/BRP) started the stage as the overall leader and maintains that position so far.
As for the Challenger category, the more powerful of the two, Eryk Goczal (Energylandia Rally Team/Taurus) is, unsurprisingly, the fastest in the 48-hour stage up to this point. With almost 400km completed, the Polish driver has a margin of approximately 14 seconds over Cristina Gutiérrez (Red Bull Off-Road Jr. Team USA by BFG/Taurus).
