The Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, Nio, announced that it will launch its more affordable model brand, Firefly, in Europe as early as 2025.
The confirmation of the arrival of Nio’s more affordable models in the Old Continent was made by the company’s president, Lihong Qin, in a conversation with journalists, where he made it clear that the Firefly brand, like the Alps sub-brand, will produce family models. Firefly will offer smaller-sized, 100% electric vehicles at more affordable prices, although the prices of these new electric vehicles have not been revealed.
It is worth noting that Nio entered Europe in 2021 with its premium models, which were initially sold in Norway and this year began to be sold in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark.
