The Bugatti has just revealed the customized Chiron Super Sport 57 One of One according to the preferences of a special customer of the French brand and inspired by the iconic 1934 Type 57 SC Atlantic, of which only four units were produced between 1936 and 1938.
Customized by Bugatti Sur Mesure, the brand’s special program, this unique version comes with a light blue paint, as close as possible to Bugatti’s classic, with a reconfigured grille, polished vertical lines and a larger filament in the center, in reference to the Type 57 SC Atlantic.
At the rear, the car stands out with its generously sized wing, which has the silhouette of the original Type 57 hand-drawn on the lower part, while the five-spoke wheels feature a mix of polished chrome and the light blue of the bodywork.
Inside, the exclusivity of this model stands out with the silhouette of the 1934 model, hand-embroidered on the door panels and center console, with Lightning Blue stitching. In addition, the dancing elephant logo of Bugatti is embroidered on the headrests and the signatures of Jean Bugatti and Rembrandt are on the door sills.
“For several years, I dreamed of reinterpreting this icon, so I already had my own ideas about what I would do to honor the most elegant car ever conceived. That meant we could sit down immediately and start developing the design to bring the customer’s vision together,” emphasized Jascha Straub, head designer of Bugatti’s ‘Sur Mesure’ customization program.
The engine of this special and unique Bugatti has not been modified, meaning it still features the well-known W16 8.0 quad-turbo with 1600 hp of power and 1600 Nm of maximum torque, capable of reaching a electronically limited top speed of 439 km/h.
