José Pedro Neves is, as of today, February 1st, the new general manager of Renault Portugal, replacing Ricardo Lopes, who is leaving the group.
The new general manager of Renault Portugal will also hold the position of general manager of Dacia Portugal, a role he has held since 2021. José Pedro Neves’ appointment to the new position coincides with the decision of the Renault Group to end the Iberian cluster of the brand, applying the strategy it has been following in other geographies.
“I am thrilled and feel a sense of responsibility in accepting the challenge of being the general manager of Renault Portugal. The journey with Dacia Portugal has been extraordinary, but now I have the mission to do the same at the helm of Renault, the brand that has helped me grow professionally and that I have worked with for over three decades, as well as Alpine. Therefore, for me, it is a great honor to be at the ‘wheel’ of three brands with such an extraordinary history of success, but above all, with so much future.”, José Pedro Neves states in a statement.
