Opel continues its journey towards electric mobility and for that, the German brand already has 15 electrified models.
However, the Blitz brand has announced that next year it will make at least one electrified variant available in each model range, so that from 2025, all new models from the brand will be exclusively electric.
The push for electric mobility is one of Opel’s pillars of ambition to provide sustainable mobility – another is to increase its vegan offerings to include vehicles from all segments.
In this sense, the German brand already has a range of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles with vegan interior finishes. Even without the use of animal-derived products in its design, synthetic leather and vegan materials meet the same high standards in terms of visual quality and tactile finishes as conventional materials.
All interior finishes available in various Opel battery electric vehicles are exclusively vegan, such as the new Corsa and Astra Electric, along with several base versions and other variants of the Opel range.
It is certain that future models from the Blitz brand will continue to focus on vegan materials, thus abstaining from animal-derived products.
