Fiat pays homage to Disney’s 100th anniversary with an exclusive gift, creating 5 themed versions of the new Topolino dedicated to Mickey Mouse.
The presentation of the five unique Topolino models took place at Casa 500, on the fourth floor of the prestigious art institution “Pinacoteca Agnelli,” where one can experience a journey through art and time on the occasion of Disney’s 100th anniversary, Mickey Mouse’s 95th anniversary, and Lingotto’s centenary.
“The stories of Fiat and Disney are intertwined, as both Disney and Lingotto celebrate their 100th anniversary, and the 2 Topolinos – the Disney icon and the first Fiat 500 – have been inspiring art, street art, and fashion for decades. We have much more in common than a name: DNA, authenticity, the importance of bringing simplicity, warmth, and joy to people. The value of allowing people to look at the world and the future with a smile and optimism, in order to connect with a younger audience,” emphasized Olivier François, CEO of Fiat and CMO of Global Stellantis.
As part of the celebration of Mickey Mouse and the Fiat Topolino, an exhibition of these 5 unique pieces will be set up on the north ramp of the Lingotto building, in collaboration with the Pinacoteca Agnelli. Mall visitors will be able to walk along the ramp and admire the 5 unique Fiat Topolino cars when they reach La Pista 500.
Inspired by Disney creatives, the Fiat Centro Stile gave the four Topolino cars a second skin, a process that allows them to express any aspect of the Topolino world; in addition, a fifth model was designed in special collaboration with Giorgio Cavazzano, a Disney artist.
Complementing Cavazzano’s commemorative design, the other four Topolino cars – works of art – are rooted in a distinct artistic environment and movement, centered around four themes: History, Modern Art, Street, and Abstract.
