The incident, which took place in the second quarter, saw Podziemski take a hard hit to the face from Alex Len, cutting short his performance after logging just 11 minutes and scoring three points.
Warriors’ owner Joe Lacob has expressed the team’s commitment to Podziemski, especially after the recent departure of longtime star Klay Thompson. Lacob assured Podziemski, “You’re a priority here,” emphasizing the player’s growing role within the franchise.
