“Goff has been near perfect,” Smith said, highlighting the Lions quarterback’s flawless performance in Week 5 against the Seahawks, where he logged a passer rating of 155.79. For Smith, the Lions under head coach Dan Campbell are far from the 0-16 team of 2008, bringing both talent and strategy that make Dallas no longer the fortress it once was.
Prescott, however, boasts an impressive history against the Lions, with a 5-0 record, 1,463 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and a passer rating of 118.6. Meanwhile, Goff has struggled in previous matchups against Dallas, holding a 2-3 record. Still, Smith believes the Lions’ new approach under Campbell and Goff’s recent hot streak are enough to shake up the Cowboys, leaving fans to see if Goff can break his Dallas losing streak on game day.
