A Web Summit, a technology and innovation conference, which takes place in Lisbon between November 13th and 16th, will cause traffic disruptions, particularly in the Parque das Nações area, warned the Public Security Police (PSP) this Friday.
In a statement, the Metropolitan Command of Lisbon stated that during the four days of the Web Summit, there will be closures of traffic on the entire Alameda dos Oceanos (restricted to emergency vehicles in the north/south direction between Rotunda dos Vice-Reis and Rua Mar da China) and on Avenida do Índico between Alameda dos Oceanos and Avenida Dom João II, where access to the park and loading and unloading operations will be guaranteed.
On those days, Rua do Bojador will also be closed to traffic between Rotunda do Bojador and Alameda dos Oceanos, and Avenida da Boa Esperança will have restricted traffic between Rotunda dos Vice-Reis and Hotel Myriad, with only authorized vehicles being allowed to circulate.
“Between November 17th and 21st, gradually, all roads will be reopened and restored,” adds the PSP note.
