The Toyota has just announced that it has reached a global production of 300 million automobiles, a feat achieved in 88 years of the brand’s history, which is a symbol of the Japanese automotive industry.
Of the 300 million vehicles produced by the automotive industry giant throughout its history, 180 million were produced in Japan and the remaining 119.60 million were built in other countries where the brand has production units.
The history of the Japanese brand in automobile production began in August 1935 with the G1 Truck, a heavy vehicle produced by the Automotive Production Division of Toyoda Automatic Loom Works, Ltd, which later became Toyota Industries Corporation.
In the 88 years of Toyota’s history, the most produced model is the Corolla, with a total of 53,399 million units coming out of production units by the end of September 2023.
