Caleb Parry is taking the golfing world by storm, achieving what many seasoned players only dream of—sinking a hole-in-one at the tender age of four. This remarkable feat has earned him comparisons to Rory McIlroy, although Caleb himself aspires to emulate Tiger Woods.
The young talent made headlines earlier this year while playing at the Caldy Golf Club’s par-3 course in the Wirral Golf Junior League. With a stunning 70-yard drive, Caleb astonished onlookers by rolling the ball into the hole for an eagle. “I hit my driver, and it went in, and everyone cheered for me,” said Caleb, who is now five years old and just getting started with his golfing journey.
Proud father James Parry recalls the magical moment: “It was their fifth hole on that course, and his team was playing quite well. A few people shouted, ‘That’s going in,’ and sure enough, it bounced short of the green and rolled all the way in. I was gobsmacked and just couldn’t believe it.”
Remarkably, Caleb had only taken 12 lessons and was just four months into using metal clubs when he accomplished this incredible shot. His natural talent and impressive swing have sparked hope that he will continue to develop his skills in the sport. James expressed his aspirations for Caleb, saying, “If he can take it as far as he can, it would be very good and interesting for him.”
Caleb’s enthusiasm for golf is undeniable. “Every night after school, he asks to go and play golf,” his father explained. “He usually wakes up in the morning and chips or does some putting in the living room.” With such dedication and talent at such a young age, the golfing community will be eagerly watching Caleb’s journey unfold.
As he continues to play, one thing is clear: the sky is the limit for this young golfing sensation!
