LIV Golf star Anthony Kim ignited a firestorm on social media after posting a vile homophobic message targeting Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, along with Bravo’s Andy Cohen and comedian Ben Stiller. In a shocking outburst, Kim responded to a campaign video featuring the three men discussing the joys of fatherhood, crudely accusing “at least 2 dudes” of being homosexuals and making an explicit comment about gay sex.
Kim’s post, which also referenced a baseless 2012 allegation against Emhoff and endorsed Donald Trump for president, drew widespread criticism. While some of Kim’s followers bizarrely supported his offensive remarks, many others condemned his vile comments, calling on him to delete his account.
This isn’t the first time Kim has sparked controversy in 2024, following a bizarre social media post in July where he compared his work ethic to that of a “crackhead.” Kim, who recently returned to professional golf after a decade-long hiatus, has been struggling to find his footing both on and off the course.
