A North Korean defector has unveiled the horrors inside Kim Jong-Un’s brutal torture cells, where civilians, including babies and the elderly, face unthinkable atrocities. Mrs. X, a defector who fled the regime after six failed attempts, recounts a nightmare where rape, murder, and unbearable cruelty are daily occurrences.
In these detention centers, women are subjected to sexual violence, with one survivor enduring cigarette burns and bite marks from a sadistic military officer. Pregnant detainees suffer through miscarriages as guards force them into grueling labor. “The worst was when North Korean security agents killed a newborn baby. It was a living hell,” Mrs. X revealed.
Elderly prisoners are also targeted. One South Korean woman, searching for her husband from the Korean War, was viciously beaten to death for slipping into her southern dialect—a crime that enraged the guards. The haunting details of her death still haunt Mrs. X, who promised to inform the woman’s daughter but has never been able to fulfill that wish.
Prisoners in these facilities endure starvation and disease, with 130 detainees dying within six months from abdominal illnesses. The conditions are beyond grim: cells packed with 20 people, lice infestations, and meager rations of moldy corn. In the words of Mrs. X, “We were treated as less than the stones on the ground.”
This chilling testimony reveals the true horror of life under Kim Jong-Un, where human life is treated with utter contempt, and survival is nothing short of a miracle.
