In a powerful video, Holocaust survivor Jerry Wartski, 94, condemned Vice President Kamala Harris for describing former President Donald Trump as a “fascist.” Rolling up his sleeve to reveal his Auschwitz prisoner tattoo, Wartski challenged Harris’s comment, saying, “I know more about Hitler than Kamala will ever know in a thousand lifetimes.” Wartski demanded an apology from Harris, calling her statement “the worst thing I ever heard in my 75 years living in the United States.”
Wartski, who recently met Trump at a New York gathering honoring American Jews and recognizing the anniversary of the Hamas attacks in Israel, praised Trump as a strong ally of the Jewish people and Israel. Citing Trump’s commitment, Wartski emphasized, “He has always stood with the Jewish people and the state of Israel.” The video, released by the Trump campaign, underscores the former president’s stance on U.S.-Israel relations amidst controversy over Harris’s characterization.
Meanwhile, recent polling from the Manhattan Institute shows that Harris still holds a significant lead over Trump among American Jewish voters, with 67% expressing support for her in the upcoming election.
