The format of Formula 1 Grand Prix races will undergo changes again for the 2024 season. The sessions will remain the same as in 2023, but with a different order.
On Fridays, there will be a single free practice session and the Sprint Shoot Out – the qualifying session for the Sprint race, which used to take place on Saturday mornings last year. The Sprint race will still be held on Saturdays, along with the qualifying session for the main race – which, as tradition dictates, will be on Sunday.
It is worth mentioning that the 2024 F1 season has six planned Sprint rounds. The first one will be the Chinese GP from April 19th to 21st, followed by the GPs of Miami, Austria, the United States, São Paulo, and Qatar.
