The Alfa Romeo Junior, a model that marks the return of the Italian brand to the B segment, has won the “autonis” design award presented by the readers of the German publication “auto motor und sport.”
This year, over 14,000 readers participated in the survey, with 36.1% choosing the design of the Alfa Romeo Junior as the most beautiful in the “SUV/Compact All-Terrain Vehicles” category. The magazine’s readers were able to vote on a total of 124 new cars divided into 13 different categories.
“In just a few months, the new Alfa Romeo Junior has won two prestigious design awards from a German automotive magazine. I am very proud of this fact. I would like to thank the readers of ‘auto motor und sport’ for this repeated recognition of their esteem. It is with great pride that we dedicate this award to our design team at Alfa Romeo Centro Stile in Turin. However, the unmistakable Italian design is just one of the reasons why the Alfa Romeo Junior is winning over new customers. In fact, its innovative technology and functionality are crucial factors in their decisions,” said Niccolò Biagioli, General Manager of Alfa Romeo in Germany.
With this award, the Junior joins the ranks of Giuletta, Mito, Tonale, Giulia, and Stelvio, Alfa Romeo models that have been distinguished in previous editions of the German publication’s awards.
