Limited to the Crew Cab models, the new Forsberg Edition is a dealer-installed package suitable to all versions of the Frontier starting with the 2022 model year. The bundle has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $9,999 and will become available starting this fall.
The most affordable 2024 Nissan Frontier is the Crew Cab S 4×2, which starts at $31,330. The four-wheel drive version adds $3,000 to the MSRP. Factor in the $9,999 MSRP of the package, and you will have to cough out at least $41,329 for one, excluding the destination charge and dealer fees. The range-topping Crew Cab Hardbody Edition 4×4 starts at $44,040, and the Crew Cab PRO-4X 4×4 starts at $39,560.
Inspired by the racer that took on the Norra 500, which was part of a collaboration between Nissan, Forsberg Racing, and Chris Forsberg, the new Forsberg Edition comes with an added roof rack that features additional LED lighting. It also gets rock sliders, a lift kit, Nismo suspension parts including forged upper control arms and high-performance shocks, and a Nismo-signed catback exhaust system.
Nissan’s bundle of goodies available for the third-generation Frontier brings new wheels to the package, too. The 17-inch Axis Beadlock wheels were wrapped in Yokohama Geolander X-AT tires, measuring 265/70 on both axles. Last but not least, the Forsberg Racing unique decals and the Limited Edition badge complete the look of this off-road-ready pickup.

Having traveled from the North to the South Pole, the modified Nissan Ariya e-4ORCE is also getting ready to make its auto show debut in Chicago in a few days. Husband and wife adventurers Chris and Julie Ramsey put it through its paces for more than 18,000 miles (km) over ten months, going from North and Central to South America. The EV reached its final destination in the middle of December.
Looking to put the spotlight on the Ariya’s natural abilities to conquer some arduous tracks, Nissan kept the modifications to the minimum. As a result, it retains the OEM powertrain and battery. It rides on 39-inch BFGoodrich tires, sports fender flares, and has a modified suspension. Aiding its expedition were solar panels and a lightweight wind turbine, which brought juice to the battery pack during the tough challenge.
The 2024 edition of the Chicago Auto Show will open its doors on February 8 for the media and two days later for the general public. Adult tickets cost $17, and kids under 3 won’t have to pay anything. Tickets for children aged 4 to 12 and seniors over 62 are $12.
