Chery has revealed the first images of the electric concept it will present at the upcoming Guangzhou Auto Show in China, which kicks off next Friday, November 15, and previews a future high-tech electric model from the Fulwin series.
According to the Chinese brand, the model will feature an 800 V platform and a solid-state battery with a range of up to 1500 km, autonomous driving, four-wheel steering, steer-by-wire technology, and a smart cockpit.
Additionally, it is expected to be equipped with an electric motor capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 260 km/h.
The images revealed by Chery show that the concept features an aggressive design, with a front section that has a LED technology lighting signature. Notably, there is also a color-changing solar roof, as well as side view cameras that replace traditional exterior rearview mirrors. At the rear, the highlight is an active spoiler with two elements that resemble wings, crossed by a brake light, along with a light strip across the entire width of the rear of this Chery concept.
Inside, the brand promises an infotainment system powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, equipped with a 15.6-inch screen. Additionally, the sound system will feature 23 speakers, while the voice assistant will offer Artificial Intelligence.
We now have to wait for the Guangzhou Auto Show to find out when this concept will transition to a production model, which does not seem likely to happen in the immediate future.
