The Haas Formula 1 (F1) team has already surpassed their total points from the 2023 season, accumulating 27 points so far this year.According to Williams Racing driver, Haas F1 is the top-performing team in the mid-table category for this season. The team, based in Kannapolis and led by an undisclosed individual, has shown significant improvement compared to previous seasons.
Haas F1 made their debut in the sport in 2016 and managed to score 29 points in their inaugural season. Since then, they have established themselves as a mid-table team, achieving their best result in 2018 with a total of 93 points. Alex Albon has praised the leadership of Ayao Komatsu, who took over as the team principal for Haas in January. Komatsu’s impact on the team has been effective, leading to a turnaround in their performance this season.
Albon has also emphasized the importance for Williams to elevate their performance in comparison to other mid-table teams. Meanwhile, Komatsu will continue to strive for a successful outcome for Haas by the end of this year. The season has been challenging for Haas driver, who has faced difficulties both on and off the track. The future of Kevin Magnussen is uncertain, as he is expected to be replaced by F2 sensation in 2025.
Magnussen has expressed his unwillingness to continue as a reserve driver next season, believing that his experience and history in F1 qualify him for an active role on the grid. Throughout his time with Haas, the 31-year-old driver has consistently demonstrated his skills on the track.
