Alpine has teamed up with photographer Mathieu Cesar to create the A110S Monochromatic, a unique version of the sports car from the Dieppe brand.
This 2024 Art Car offers a vision of the automobile where simplicity becomes synonymous with sophistication. Black and white inside and out, the A110S Monochromatic has been stripped of all its colors and features a black and white gradient on the body, with the front and rear sections in glossy black.
Furthermore, the interior of this unique A110 S features a white upper section that contrasts with the black lower section. 3D printing has been chosen to create lightness and transparency in the headrests and door trims. The black-and-white upholstery reflects the gradient of the exterior. Finally, the aluminum interior elements, such as the decoration of the A110 S Monochromatic console, the identification plate, and the specific door sills complete the design.
“This collaboration was a dialogue between two arts: Mathieu’s world of photography and our automotive experience. It represents a perfect fusion of our shared vision of performance and elegance. The creation of the A110S Monochromatic is not just about materials and textures, but also about passion and emotion”, said Antony Villain, Design Director of Alpine.
Remember that this is the fourth consecutive year that Alpine has presented an Art Car, following the Alpine A110S by Felipe Pantone in 2021, the A110 Sastruga by Obvious Collective in 2022, and the A110 Metamorphosis by Arne Quinze in 2023.
Now it was the turn of the French brand to partner with Mathieu Cesar, who captured the soul of the Alpine in timeless photographs and in a film where the sporty A110 S appears frozen in a parallel universe where light and shadow dance across the bodywork.
