Red Bull has won all races so far in the 2024 Formula 1 season. The team’s performance has been extraordinary, reminiscent of their achievements in the previous year. With four Grand Prix victories already under their belt, the dominance displayed by Red Bull has led the Mercedes team boss to declare that the season is effectively over.
After the Japanese Grand Prix, Toto Wolff did not hesitate to admit that the current campaign had been decided due to the superiority of the RB20 and its performance. However, Christian Horner, head of Red Bull Racing, disagrees with this perspective. He openly criticizes Wolff and states that there are still 20 races left on the 2024 calendar.
Horner makes it clear that he does not take Toto Wolff’s assessment seriously. He firmly believes that there are plenty of races to be contested, making it premature to declare the season over after just four rounds.
While Christian Horner largely dismisses Toto Wolff’s view of the 2024 Formula 1 season, he also takes the opportunity to talk about his star driver, Max Verstappen. Horner acknowledges that the 26-year-old Dutch driver is in exceptional form after his victory in Suzuka.
Verstappen has been nothing short of exceptional throughout the ongoing campaign. Furthermore, his disappointing result in Australia was not due to his own actions, but rather a problem with the RB20. As the Chinese Grand Prix approaches, Verstappen is once again expected to be the frontrunner, dominating the events over the course of the three days.
