The American manufacturer of sports models, Czinger, has now confirmed that it will proceed with the production of the Hyper GT, a sports car with 1250 horsepower, presented in 2022.
In an interview with “Top Gear“, Czinger’s founder and CEO, Kevin Czinger, confirmed that the model will go into production, although he did not confirm the date, and that the Hyper GT will be one of the six models that the Californian company intends to launch by the end of the decade.
Recall that the prototype of the Hyper GT, revealed in 2022 at the Monterey Car Week, was equipped with “gullwing” opening doors and an aerodynamic design inspired by the brand’s 21C supercar.
Regarding the engine, Czinger has already announced that the new Hyper GT will use the same powertrain as the 21C, although with reduced power compared to the supercar’s 1331 horsepower.
Thus, the Hyper GT will be equipped with a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors that deliver a power of 1250 horsepower.
