Considering current quotations, fuel prices are expected to be slightly cheaper next week, after the increase recorded in recent weeks.
According to calculations by “ECO“, the price of regular gasoline 95 is expected to decrease by 2 cents per liter on Monday, April 15, to an average price of €1.805.
As for regular diesel, the most consumed fuel in Portugal, it is expected to decrease by 0.5 cents per liter, to €1.624 per liter.
According to the specialized publication in economic matters, these prices already take into account the discounts applied by fuel companies and the review of temporary tax measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices. The tax reduction determined by the measures currently in force is 25 cents per liter of diesel and 26 cents per liter of gasoline.
Despite the expected decrease in fuel prices next week, it is worth noting that since the beginning of the year, the price of regular diesel has already increased by 8 cents per liter while regular gasoline 95 has become 17 cents more expensive.
