EDP Comercial has announced that it will reduce the prices of energy charged by users of the EDP Charge Card (CEME) in public places, seeking to provide its customers with the best solutions as a market leader in Electric Mobility.
Therefore, as of January 1, 2024, an average reduction of 30% will be made in the “Energy and Commercial Structure” price component. However, the final price to be charged to customers will only be known when the definitive tariffs for the next year are published by ERSE.
This reduction has already been communicated to private customers with over 60,000 EDP Charge cards from EDP Comercial, applying to both the card and the EDP Charge app, which allows customers to have a digital version of the physical card or a 100% virtual card to facilitate day-to-day management in public charging.
Regarding home charging, EDP Comercial had already announced an average reduction of 15% in the same component (Energy and Commercial Structure) in the residential bills of its customers. It will also be necessary to wait for the Access Tariffs to the Networks for 2024 to calculate the final impact.
