The average weekly price calculated by the Energy Services Regulatory Entity (ERSE) increased by 2% for gasoline and 1% for diesel, the most used fuel in Portugal.
According to the ERSE report released this Monday, the efficient price was updated, “taking into account the weekly variation of international quotations for simple gasoline 95 by +4.7% and simple diesel by +2.1%”.
Thus, “for the week of March 25 to 31, the Preço Eficiente before taxes is €0.884 per liter for simple gasoline 95 and €0.919 for simple diesel. After taxes, the Preço Eficiente is €1.799 per liter for simple gasoline 95, and €1.676 for simple diesel”.
It is worth noting that the efficient price “is a weekly average price determined by the ERSE and results from the sum of the following components: fuel prices in international reference markets and their respective maritime freights, primary logistics, including in this parcel the strategic reserves and security of the National Oil System, the additional costs with the incorporation of biofuels, and the retail component plus the respective taxes”.
Regarding the previous week, the report states that “it was found that the average of the Public Sale Prices announced on the signs, and reported in the Single Energy Counter, was 2.6 cents per liter above the Efficient Price of that week, in the case of simple gasoline 95, and 2.6 cents above in the case of simple diesel”.
Em termos percentuais, “a gasolina 95 simples foi anunciada nos pórticos 1,4% acima do Preço Eficiente e o gasóleo simples foi 1,5% acima”, segundo o relatório.
