In dramatic footage released by the IDF, Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar is seen in his final moments, bloodied and wounded, attempting a feeble defense against an Israeli drone by throwing a stick. Sinwar, held responsible by Israel for orchestrating the brutal October 7 massacre, was tracked down in Gaza and killed by Israeli forces.
The video shows Sinwar hiding amid the rubble of a bombed-out building, his face partially covered, and his hand visibly injured by bullets. As the drone zooms in, Sinwar hurls a stick before Israeli forces strike the building, bringing an end to the man Israel blamed for one of its darkest days.

IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari confirmed Sinwar’s death, calling it a significant military and moral victory for Israel. Sinwar’s assassination is seen as a crucial moment in Israel’s ongoing battle against Hamas, which continues to hold 101 hostages in Gaza.
