José Pedro Neves is, as of today, February 1st, the new general manager of Renault Portugal, replacing Ricardo Lopes, who is leaving the group.
The new general manager of Renault Portugal will also hold the position of general manager of Dacia Portugal, a role he has held since 2021. José Pedro Neves’ appointment to the new position coincides with Renault Group’s decision to end the Iberian cluster of the brand, applying the strategy it has been following in other geographies.
« I accept the challenge of being the general manager of Renault Portugal with great enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility. The ‘journey’ with Dacia Portugal has been extraordinary, but now I have the mission to also lead Renault, the brand that has helped me grow professionally and that I have worked for over three decades, as well as Alpine. Therefore, it is a great honor for me to be at the ‘wheel’ of three brands with such an extraordinary history of success, but above all, with so much future, » states José Pedro Neves in a statement.
