Kevin Harvick anticipates potential challenges for Kyle Larson in the Coca Cola 600 race. Harvick and Larson are both drivers for Hendrick Motorsports. Larson is on the verge of making history as the first driver since Kurt Busch in 2014 to attempt the double challenge of racing in both the Indy 500 and the Coca Cola 600. The double challenge is a demanding task, as it requires racing a total of 1100 miles on two different tracks and championships. This can be physically and mentally exhausting for a driver. Larson, who is a champion in both NASCAR and IndyCar, is the only one to have successfully completed both races while attempting the double challenge. Harvick recalls on his podcast that even the best, like Tony Stewart, had difficulties transitioning from the Indy 500 to the Coca Cola 600. Racing two 500-mile and 600-mile races on the same day without proper rest is a significant challenge. Harvick believes that Larson has planned everything meticulously so far. However, he points out that even the best drivers faced challenges when returning to NASCAR after the Indy 500. Harvick’s opinion is that Larson may face similar challenges. Despite this, Larson is considered to be on the same skill level or even above Stewart. It will be interesting to see if Larson can prove Harvick wrong.
