The fuel prices will rise next Monday, after a sequence of decreases recorded since April.
Thus, according to “ECO”, in the early hours of next Monday, June 17, gasoline 95 will decrease by 1.5 cents to an average price of €1.717 per liter.
On the other hand, diesel, the most commonly used fuel in Portugal, is expected to decrease by 4 cents per liter, reaching €1.563 per liter.
The specialized publication in economic matters has informed that the fuel prices forecasted for next week already take into account the discounts applied by the gas stations and the revision of temporary fiscal measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices. The tax reduction determined by the currently in force measures is 25 cents per liter of diesel and 26 cents per liter of gasoline.
