Next week will bring a significant increase in fuel prices, particularly for regular diesel.
According to calculations by “ECO”, the price of regular diesel, the most commonly used fuel in Portugal, is expected to increase by 3.5 cents per liter, reaching an average price of €1.653.
If confirmed, this diesel price increase will be the largest since mid-September last year. According to data from the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG), in the week of September 18, diesel experienced an increase of about 5 cents per liter, reaching €1.8.
On the other hand, the price of regular 95 gasoline is expected to increase by 0.5 cents per liter, reaching €1.906 per liter.
The rise in fuel prices next week is justified by the increase in raw material prices in international markets.
