The next week is not expected to bring major changes to fuel prices, but everything points to gasoline drivers paying less for fuel.
According to market sources, in the early hours of next Monday, January 15th, the price of regular 95 gasoline is expected to decrease by 0.5 cents per liter, to an average price of €1.640 per liter, while the price of regular diesel, the most commonly used fuel in Portugal, is expected to increase by 0.5 cents per liter, reaching a price of €1.555 per liter.
These prices already take into account the discounts applied by gas stations and the revision of temporary tax measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices. The tax reduction determined by the currently effective measures is 25 cents per liter of diesel and 26 cents per liter of gasoline.
