Honda has announced plans to launch six new electric models of the brand’s next-generation Ye line, aimed at the Chinese market by 2027.
Next week, Honda will take advantage of its presence at the Beijing Auto Show to introduce three new Ye models: S7, P7, and Ye GT concept, which will help increase the brand’s electric offerings in a market “where the transition to electric mobility is happening rapidly.”
The brand has announced that the new P7 and S7 are the first set of models in the Ye Series, developed on a new electric vehicle platform and will be available in two versions – a rear-wheel drive with one motor and an all-wheel drive version with two motors.
The Japanese brand promises that the rear-wheel drive version is designed to offer sporty performance, while the all-wheel drive variant promises high power and a dynamic driving experience.
Honda has not revealed the interior of the new models, but has mentioned that both are equipped with LED instrument panel and artificial intelligence driving assistant.
At the Beijing Salon, Honda will also reveal the GT concept, which features a “low and wide” silhouette, with a driving position designed to allow the driver to enjoy a competition pilot experience.
