Kamala Harris made it crystal clear in a headline-grabbing Fox News interview that if she lands in the Oval Office, it won’t be as Biden 2.0. Facing Fox’s Bret Baier after a rally in Pennsylvania packed with over a hundred Republican supporters, Harris went on the offensive. “My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s,” she stated, adding, “I represent a new generation of leadership.”
The interview, her first on Fox, wasn’t all about pleasantries. Baier pressed Harris hard on topics like immigration, Biden’s record, and issues dear to Fox’s heart, including trans rights. When challenged on her loyalty to Biden’s policies, Harris didn’t flinch. Instead, she leaned into her unique background, saying, “As someone who hasn’t spent the majority of my career in Washington, I welcome fresh ideas—even from Republicans who stood with me just minutes ago.”
When polling numbers showing widespread discontent came up, Harris attributed it to a fatigue with both Trump and Biden, noting that even some of Trump’s ex-staffers have slammed him as “unstable.” And when Baier poked the bear with “Why does Trump still have half the country’s support? Are they stupid?” Harris countered with, “I would never say that about the American people.” She argued Trump is the one belittling voters, labeling dissenters as “the enemy within” and hinting at military intervention against them.
This Fox interview adds to a media blitz for Harris as she battles it out with Trump for a tied position in swing-state polls. She’s made waves recently with appearances on CBS’s 60 Minutes, The View, and a guest spot on Call Her Daddy, as well as rumored talks with Joe Rogan. As the November 5 election nears, Harris’s words on Fox underscore her message: she’s no Biden, and she’s here to shake things up.
