KATIE PRICE’S CAR COLLECTION REPOSSESSED AMIDST FINANCIAL TROUBLES
Katie Price, formerly known as Jordan, has made headlines once again, but this time it’s not for her glamour modeling or reality TV stints. The former tabloid favorite, who rose to fame in the late ’90s and early 2000s, has recently faced financial difficulties and legal issues.
Price, who started her career as a Page 3 girl, managed to leverage her fame into a successful business empire. However, her extravagant lifestyle and mounting legal problems have taken a toll on her finances. Recently, bailiffs visited Price’s West Sussex mansion to collect an outstanding payment of £250,000 ($319,000) that she owed to her ex-husband, Alex Reid.
The visit resulted in the repossession of five of Price’s vehicles, including her iconic Barbie-inspired 2001 Suzuki Vitara, which she has been unsuccessfully trying to sell for years. The car, customized by Robbie Orlando from Valet Magic, was last listed for £66,000 ($84,200). It seems that Price’s celebrity status wasn’t enough to attract buyers willing to pay such a high price.
Photos obtained by local media show the remaining three vehicles parked outside Price’s mansion after the bailiffs’ visit. Among them is her current daily driver, a black Range Rover. However, losing a few cars is the least of Price’s worries at the moment.
The former glamour model has faced multiple bankruptcies and is still at risk of losing her mansion due to foreclosure. Additionally, she has been banned from driving on several occasions, rendering her plans to build an all-pink fleet of vehicles, including a customized Bentley and a pink Ferrari, nothing more than a pipe dream.
It seems that Price’s financial troubles and legal issues have caught up with her, serving as a stark reminder that even the rich and famous aren’t immune to the consequences of their actions. As she navigates through these challenging times, it remains to be seen if Price can bounce back and regain her former glory.
