The next announcement of the 2024/25 Formula E calendar will include the addition of Homestead, a well-known NASCAR venue, and a new track in northern Thailand. Homestead will become the fifth Formula E track in the United States, joining Miami, Long Beach, Brooklyn, and Portland. Most of Homestead’s internal road circuit will be used for the race, with a possible date in April 2025. The possibility of two races in the US was considered, but ultimately discarded due to logistical reasons. Before Homestead, it is also expected that Formula E will confirm a race in Chiang Mai, Thailand, becoming the first international single-seater championship to race in the country. The race in Chiang Mai is scheduled to take place in early March and will be linked to a major environmental festival focused on sustainability and electric vehicles. In case of any issues, the Tempelhof event in Berlin may be rescheduled for the spring. The final calendar will depend on the scheduling of the World Endurance Championship, with possible clashes impacting the driver market. The 2024/25 Formula E season is set to begin in December at the Anhembi Stadium circuit in São Paulo, followed by the Mexico City E-Prix in January. Pre-season testing will take place in November. The provisional calendar will be ratified at the FIA World Motor Sport Council meeting.
