Zane Maloney, a racer from Barbados, expressed his confidence in the FIA Formula 2 title fight despite losing his early lead in the championship standings. Maloney started the season strong with two victories in Bahrain, which allowed him to maintain his position at the top.
However, a recent dip in form has caused him to slip to fourth place. Nevertheless, with 101 points to his name, Maloney believes he is still in contention for the title. He remains optimistic and focused on the upcoming race at the Belgian Spa-Francorchamps circuit, aiming to bounce back from a disappointing outing in Hungary.
