Mitsubishi has just launched in Portugal the special editions “Black Edition” of the ASX and Eclipse Cross PHEV models, which stand out for their black exterior details that give them a more sporty and exclusive aesthetic.
In the case of the ASX, the new “Black Edition” edition, based on the 1.0 Invite version, includes black accents on the interior area of the taillights and wheel covers, and also adds a wireless smartphone charger as standard, using an induction system, on the central console. In terms of engine, the ASX “Black Edition” is equipped with a 1.0-liter turbo gasoline unit with 90 hp, coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox. The announced combined consumption is only 5.8 liters/100 km and CO2 emissions are 131g/km (WLTP standard).
On the other hand, the Eclipse Cross PHEV SUV features a 2.4-liter gasoline engine combined with two electric motors (one on each axle), which are powered by a 13.8 kWh battery, allowing for a combined power output of 202 hp and a 100% electric mode range of 55 km in urban cycle (WLTP standard).
Like the ASX, the Eclipse Cross PHEV also features a set of black exterior details to enhance its sporty image, including alloy wheels, lower protections, exterior rearview mirrors, and model designation on the hood in black.
