Peugeot has announced that the new generation of the 3008 will arrive in the national market next May, bringing with it a new 100% electric version of the French brand’s SUV.
The new 3008 is the first model to benefit from the new STLA Medium platform from Stellantis, immediately distinguished by its fastback SUV style. A silhouette that is both dynamic and aerodynamic (Cx 0.28) allows the new 3008 to combine elegance, efficiency, and space.
The feline lines of the new 3008 stand out in a front section designed around the new Peugeot emblem, maintaining the signature three-claw lighting, but with a new image characterized by a sharper design and now positioned higher, complemented by a thin strip integrating the ultra-compact LED headlights (standard in all versions), placed above the grille without demarcation, and benefiting from a body-colored gradient.
In profile and at the rear, the new Peugeot 3008 emphasizes the fastback design of the body, with a silhouette dominated by the roof shape and a rear section with a sharply sloping design, featuring a “floating” deflector and taillights with the signature three-claw lighting.
The new Peugeot 3008 and E-3008 will arrive in the Portuguese market in May with the E-3008 versions of 210 hp with 525 km of autonomy, and 3008 Hybrid 136 hp e-DCS6. In the last quarter, the 3008 Plug-in Hybrid will arrive, and in 2025 two more 100% electric versions with superior features: the E-3008 with 320 hp, two electric motors, all-wheel drive, and a range of 525 km, and the E-3008 with 230 hp, two-wheel drive, and a range of 700 km.The range of the new Peugeot 3008 (gasoline mild-hybrid) and e-3008 (100% electric) will arrive in Portugal in two equipment levels: Allure and GT.
The entry version, Allure, comes with a vast set of equipment highlighted by the Panoramic i-Cockpit with two 10” screens, compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, HD rearview camera, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, heated exterior mirrors with electric folding and lighting, as well as 19” alloy wheels.Peugeot also revealed that when it hits the market next May, the new 3008 will be available in the Hybrid 136 hp e-DCS6 versions with 48V mild-hybrid technology, which uses a 1.2-liter turbo gasoline engine, coupled to a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox with integrated electric motor-generator and 48V battery, starting at €34,650.
