The Carolina Panthers (1-5) will be without veteran linebacker Jadeveon Clowney in their Week 7 matchup against the Washington Commanders. Clowney, sidelined with a shoulder injury, has yet to make a big impact for Carolina’s defense, which has only six sacks in six games. Joining him on the inactive list are right tackle Taylor Moton and key linebackers Jon Rhattigan and Josey Jewell. Despite his limited contributions so far, head coach Dave Canales emphasized that even a partial return from Clowney could be a boost for the struggling Panthers.
