Beth Paretta, a prominent figure in promoting gender equality in motorsport, has been appointed Vice President of Sport for the FIA Formula E series.
Paretta, who has a wide range of experience in the world of motorsport, including leading her own racing team called Paretta Autosport [which competed in the 2021 Indy 500 with Simone De Silvestro as the driver], joins Formula E as it approaches its 10th anniversary.
With previous executive roles at organizations such as Volkswagen and Aston Martin Lagonda, Paretta brings a wealth of experience to Formula E.
According to Formula E, her responsibilities will include overseeing all sporting and championship activities as the series celebrates its 10th season. She will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, attracting new participants to the series, and ensuring that Formula E’s sporting proposition delivers maximum value to its nearly 400 million fans worldwide.
