The Baltimore Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for a Baltimore Ravens fan caught on video assaulting Washington Commanders supporters after Sunday’s home win. The suspect, 24-year-old John Callis, was seen in viral videos wearing a Lamar Jackson jersey, prowling the streets and shouting, “I don’t lose,” before attacking two Commanders fans.
In a shocking display, Callis knocked one fan unconscious and slammed the other against a wall. Both victims, aged 23, were left severely injured. Now, Callis is facing serious charges, including first-degree aggravated assault, a felony that could land him up to 25 years in prison, and three counts of second-degree assault, which carries a possible 10-year sentence.
Callis’ actions didn’t just catch the attention of the police—his employer, the Baltimore-based insurance firm Maury Donnelly & Parr, Inc., fired him immediately after his identification. The company posted on X, “MDP has a zero-tolerance policy for violence and aggressive behavior. This individual is no longer employed with our firm.”
This isn’t Callis’ first brush with the law. He was charged with second-degree assault in 2021 after an altercation with a police officer in Florida, ultimately receiving probation. Now, Baltimore authorities are urging anyone with information on Callis’ whereabouts to contact Metro Crime Stoppers at 866-7LOCKUP.
As Callis’ past catches up to him, the Ravens community is left reeling from this violent incident.
