Lando Norris continues McLaren’s good form in the Formula 1 season, having finished second in qualifying for the United States Grand Prix. In yesterday’s session in Austin, he was only beaten by Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) by 0.130s.
The British driver believes he could have done a little better, but he is pleased with the second place and the performance… now focusing on the sprint race:
“I’m very happy with second place, the car’s pace has been great and I did a good lap to secure the front row for Sunday. Maybe there was a little more in it, but I’m sure Charles will think the same, so overall, I’m satisfied with qualifying. On Saturday, we have another chance to achieve a good result and score important points, so now we will shift our focus to that and aim to finish one place higher in the sprint.”
