With market leadership in the Middle East and Africa region for the second consecutive quarter, the Stellantis Pro One commercial vehicles offensive achieved a benchmark performance in the first quarter of 2024, representing one third of Stellantis’ reported net revenues.
This performance of the automotive group’s commercial vehicles business unit in global markets puts the brand on track to achieve the goal of becoming the global leader in commercial vehicles by 2027.
In a statement, Stellantis Pro One revealed that it achieved a market share in the Middle East and Africa region of 26% in the first quarter of 2024. Additionally, it maintained the number 1 position in the EU30 and South America regions. In sales of 100% electric vehicles in the EU30 region in the quarter, Pro One holds the top spot with a 33% market share, with the Peugeot brand leading across the region.
“The commercial performance in the first quarter of 2024 in commercial vehicles confirms and validates our Stellantis Pro One strategy”, said Xavier Peugeot, Senior Vice President of Stellantis, Business Unit of Commercial Vehicles. “The enthusiastic reception of our completely new van range, combined with new connected services and proposals for vans with hydrogen fuel cell propulsion, confirm Stellantis’ position as the reference choice for professionals.” Xavier Peugeot added.
