Prices of the best-selling electric SUV in Europe now start at €42,990.
Tesla has once again updated its pricing for Portugal, reducing two thousand euros from the price of the entry-level version of the Model Y (with an electric motor and rear-wheel drive), now available starting at €42,900. In a statement, Elon Musk’s brand explains the adjustment as part of a strategy aimed at “accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy”, only possible through “original engineering and manufacturing processes”, making operations more efficient in terms of time and costs. “By transferring these efficiency gains to our customers, we are able to provide a better product and make it more accessible”, the statement reads.
The versions of the Model Y with two motors, Long Range and Performance, are available from €49,990 and €55,990, respectively.
