Tesla has been working on the development of an induction charging system for electric vehicles, and has now revealed through social media a video showcasing the new Cybercab charging without the need for a wireless charger.
To do this, simply park the robotaxi over a base placed in a garage so that the Cybercab’s battery begins to charge.

It is worth noting that Tesla applied in September to international patent offices for four new patents, all related to wireless charging.
These patent applications come at a time when Elon Musk’s brand is heavily investing in autonomous driving, having recently unveiled the Cybercab, as well as the Robovan, the bus of the future, making it logical that they are also working on an induction charging station.
